The recent pandemic has heightened our awareness of infectious viruses, revealing a microscopic world both terrifying and fascinating. Inspired by these intricate structures under the microscope, this illustrated book transforms the typically menacing appearance of viruses into colorful works of art.

Featuring twelve viruses, each page showcases a virus reimagined into immersive patterns using a monochromatic color scheme derived from the color wheel. By incorporating typographic elements, layering techniques, opacity manipulation, and step gradients, these illustrations highlight the hidden beauty within these microscopic entities.

The project aims to shift our perspective on viruses, showing that even the ugliest things can possess an unexpected elegance when viewed from a different angle.
